Home Again

Well I'm back from Vegas.  It was a rather hectic and stressful trip.  I'm glad I went and I'm glad I'm back.  I would like to take another Vegas trip sometime soon.  There is so much new stuff there.  I would like to check out some of the new crazy clubs and see some shows.  Ah, another time.  I also just realized that one of my 2007 resolutions was to go to Memphis and I never went.  Maybe I'll try that again this year.  I need to do some fun traveling this year.  Anyone up for any of that please let me know.

Five years ago today I was in NY to see Bono honored as the MusiCares Person Of The Year...a fab moment in Hill History.

It's also my Tante Rae's birthday.  Happy birthday Tante Rae.  I'm in Vegas with her now even though I set this to post a few days ago.

Personally, I'm quite fond of this amendment.  On my top ten list of Constitutional Amendments, it comes in right behind the Fifth Amendment...can't tell you why ;)

Viva Las Vegas

Heading to Vegas today.  I hope I have a super fab trip.  Most of my other trips to Vegas have been super fab.  I just hope someone finds another pith helmet this time.  That was some crazy fun.  I don't care if only two of you get that.  I couldn't resist.  Anyway, I scheduled some entries to post while I'm alway so keep reading.

Happy President's Day

I hope we all take a moment today to consider our vote for this November.  Being that our current president crapped up the entire world, it's very important that we elect a man or woman (!) who will fix us all.  Sigh...  I can't wait until next January.  Then, my fellow Americans, our long national nightmare will be over.

Please be patient while I tweek my blog a little.  I need to up update the typelists and stuff but I don't see that happening until after I get back from my trip.  I promise to get everything up and running as soon as earthly possible.

Hollaback...

FYI...I haven't posted anything since August because I've been on strike.  Apparently I wasn't being paid enough to blog and I thought it sucked that I didn't get my fair internet/DVD royalties.  Anyway, I'm back.  It takes a lot of time and energy to blog.  Whooda thunk?  Lots has happened since August...people having babies right and left, birthdays, new tv with nothing to watch.  I'm ashamed to say that I've been keeping up with Britney a lot lately.  I try not to but it's so hard to avoid it.  How wonderful it must be to have 50 people go with you to get lipgloss at the drug store at 3am.  I would love to buy lipgloss at 3am.  Anyone who knows me at all knows that's true.  I've been eating apples a lot lately.  They're quite filling and very healthy.  That being said...I was REALLY sick last month.  I had the influenza virus.  I think I caught in whilst in Cleveland visiting Jenny and her baby Gracie (whom I just dubbed Lil' Gracers) and celebrating Manda's fabulous 30th birthday.  When I got home I thought I was going to die and had to go to the hospital.  It took me almost three friggin' weeks to recover.  Now I eat lots of apples...you know what they say...an apple a day keeps the doctor away.  Maybe I shouldn't eat apples anymore.  I'd sure like to meet a nice eligible hansom doctor.  On that note...I got new life insurance this week.  That's super depressing but I think it's a good thing.  I just hope that my beneficiaries don't try to kill me.  What else?  Ooooh, I got a new car.  I met Hillary Clinton at long last.  I'm going to Vegas on Tuesday.  I got new western boots and silver sneakers this week.  That's about it.  I'll post pix this week.  Keep reading!!
